Singing Workshop
Take your voice out of your head and into the room
Leipzig Underground Opera in cooperation with Schaubühne Lindenfels
The workshop is your direct introduction to our performance HAGBOUND at Schaubühne Lindenfels. In it, Madeline (37), Lissa (38) and Jeanette (78) deconstruct the cliché of the “Hag” through their voices – in a powerful plea against age discrimination and for the visibility of women* at every age.
The workshop is not about perfection, but about the joy of creating sound together. Together, we explore the voice, improvise, harmonize and playfully develop new soundscapes.
What to expect:
- Vocal Improvisation: This workshop is not about perfection, but about the joy of creating sound together.
- Harmonizing & Circle Singing: Spontaneously create powerful chords and flowing soundscapes together with others.
- Overcoming Creative Blocks: Learn to playfully let go of self-doubt and trust your voice.
The workshop will be led by Lissa Meybohm and Benjamin Mahns-Mardy.
Participants will also receive discounted tickets to our HAGBOUND performances in October.
