At the Schaubühne’s Children’s Cinema, we show you especially wonderful films on selected themes.
Every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, a new adventure begins in our cinema!

KiKi presents:
THE CINEMA DETECTIVES!

A film club for children: The Cinema Detectives! On the last Sunday of every month, we watch the current film from the “KiKi” programme together and then talk about what we experienced on the screen. A media education activity tailored to each film rounds off the successful afternoon at the cinema! For example, we might go on a search for clues in the projection room, make a flipbook or our own film poster, learn about different film techniques or even shoot our own film scenes! Interested? Come and join us!

We recommend the workshops for children aged 6–10 (primary school age). As places are limited and to help us plan, we kindly ask you to register in advance at service@schaubuehne.com.

A meeting of the Cinema Detectives includes watching a film together from 2 pm, followed immediately by approximately 1.5 hours of activities in the cinema. A cinema ticket costs €5 per child. There are no additional costs, and nothing needs to be brought along. You can join the “club” at any time. It is not necessary to attend every meeting. Spontaneous participation is possible, depending on availability. Please ask at the cinema box office when you should come back to pick up your children.
