Martín, a filmmaker living in Germany, returns to the Peruvian jungle to reconnect with his family while accompanying his father’s political campaign. His father is running for public office for the party that defends former dictator Alberto Fujimori. Upon his arrival, he documents the chaos of a Spartan election campaign. The result is an intimate and political portrait of a Peruvian middle-class family that has become increasingly foreign to him, but which continues to accompany him from afar as a migrant.
