An der Karl-Tauchnitz-Straße Ecke Beethovenstraße befand sich der Haupteingang, errichtet vom Architekten Heinrich Tscharmann. Mit seinen zwei 40 Meter hohen Obelisken bildete er ein markantes Wahrzeichen der Ausstellung. Die Kosten des Baus betrugen 88.700 Mark.
Im Gebäude befanden sich neben Garderoben und Kasse die Verwaltungsräume der Geschäftsführung und die Büros der Redaktion der Ausstellungszeitung. Zudem war die Polizei- und Feuerwache dort platziert.
Über dem Eingang thronte eine weibliche Figur, modelliert von Johannes Hartmann, die in ihren Händen eine Palme schwenkte.

At the corner of Karl-Tauchnitz-Straße and Beethovenstraße was the main entrance, built by the architect Heinrich Tscharmann. With its two striking 40-meter-high obelisks, it formed a prominent landmark of the exhibition. The cost of the building was 88,700 Gold Marks.
In addition to wardrobes and ticket office, the building housed the administrative offices of the management and the offices of the editorial staff of the exhibition newspaper. In addition, the police and fire station were located there.
